Nomination Procedure
Review the listed board positions and descriptions below and determine whether they are open for election. Below each position will be noted all current nominees for the position and whether they are incumbents. To submit your name for nomination, click the "Submit Nomination" button and fill out the nomination form. Nominees must be SPMHA members in good standing and willing to act as a Director in accordance with the SPMHA Policies & Procedures. Nominations will close at Midnight on April 8th, 2020. Once the application process closes, a follow up email will be sent out the following day notifying any nominees to prepare to speak on their own behalf against another applicant at the AGM, or to congratulate them on a win by acclamation if there are no other nominees for their chosen position.
Member-at-Large
If you have reviewed the available positions and don't see a position that is a fit for you but still want to get involved in some way, please consider submitting your name as a Member-at-Large, which can be described as members that want to get involved with SPMHA but cannot necessarily commit the time required to attend all Board Meetings and/or meet a defined job description. Rather these volunteers will be called on when needed to serve on committees, association events, etc. It's a great way to get involved without the full commitment of a board position.
